I am the Editor-in-Chief of Asian Scientist Magazine, and the Chief Executive Officer of Wildtype Media Group.

I received a PhD in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA; and a M.A., B.A. in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, UK.

My academic research has been featured by The BBC, MIT Technology Review, South China Morning Post, Singapore Tatler, Class 95 FM, Prestige Magazine’s 40 under 40, Singapore Straits Times and the World Economic Forum.

In 2013, I received the Singapore Youth Award, Singapore’s highest honor for youth, and in 2014, I was named one of EmTech Asia’s 10 Innovators Under 35.

In 2015, I was appointed a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, where I now serve on the WEF Technology Pioneer Selection Committee (2015-2018).
